Helpdesk, Service Desk and EUC Recruitment

Reliable IT support starts with the right people.

When employees cannot access devices, applications or accounts, productivity stops. Service desk professionals need technical judgment, secure working practices and the ability to communicate clearly with users under pressure.

ANZ Talent Hub supports permanent and contract recruitment for Level 1 and Level 2 support, desktop support and end-user computing roles.

Roles we recruit

Define your support model

Tell candidates what the service environment actually looks like: enterprise or SME, remote or desk-side, ticket volumes, first-contact expectations, escalation routes, support hours and on-site attendance.

Relevant tools may include Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune and platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management. Do not require every tool if practical troubleshooting skills and training matter more.

Assess support under pressure

Scenario questions reveal how someone isolates a fault, identifies an incident affecting multiple people, communicates progress and escalates securely. Customer service is not an optional extra; it is a core part of the role.

Need immediate or ongoing IT support capability?

Tell us the coverage required, location, systems and availability expectations. We can discuss the recruitment scope.

Frequently asked questions

Can ANZ Talent Hub recruit Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk analysts?

Helpdesk, service desk and end-user computing recruitment are among the core areas. Roles may be permanent or time-bound; confirm the actual arrangement, support level, working location and availability requirements for each assignment.

What is the difference between Level 1 and Level 2 support?

Level 1 commonly handles first contact, triage, routine requests and escalation. Level 2 generally performs more complex troubleshooting involving systems, devices, applications or access. The definitions differ between organisations, so state what each level must resolve.

Can you recruit support analysts for enterprise environments?

Enterprise IT support is part of ANZ Talent Hub’s intended recruitment focus. Relevant experience may include Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, device management and IT service management tools. The right candidate should also be able to communicate clearly with users and manage incidents responsibly.

How do we assess a helpdesk analyst’s troubleshooting skills?

Use a scenario such as a user unable to sign in or several people losing access to one application. Ask what questions the candidate would ask, what they would check, when they would escalate and how they would document and communicate the incident.
